We at Engineers Without Borders Luxembourg (EWB Luxembourg) are a volunteer-led, non-profit organization. Our dedicated volunteers contribute their engineering expertise to support sustainable development projects. While we do not provide funding ourselves and do not act as donors, we collaborate with sponsors to bring concrete projects to life. With our technical knowledge, we aim to make a meaningful difference for communities in need.
Project Eligibility Criteria:
To ensure meaningful impact, projects should meet the following requirements:
- Directly benefit 200+ people
- Improve education or skills development
- Have a maximum budget of €20,000
- Include a local partner contribution of at least 5% (can include volunteer labor or hosting our team)
- Are accepted by the broader local community
- Priority countries for 2026: Angola, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
